Bowl Gongs

These are a series of three sound sculptures made in Colorado. They are  inspired by Tibetan singing bowls but are played in a similar manner to traditional gongs, thus the name bowl gong. The largest bowl in this series is the Earth bowl, it is roughly twenty four inches in diameter. The Sun bowl is the net size down at around eighteen inches in diameter, and the smallest bowl is the Moon bowl at twelve inches across.
